Bolus Head Loop Walk officially open.

Local farmer that made it possible to walk their land.

Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Affairs Jimmy Deenihan and Patricia Deen.

Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Affairs Jimmy Deenihan was opening the Bolus Head loop walk to the public today.
The walk is not very hard apart from a small steep stretch towards the ruins of the Old Barracks. I´ve done this walk many times and I think it is one of the best walks in Kerry and offers great views stretching from Kenmare Bay to the Blasket Island near Dingle. The Skelligs and Puffin Island are very close and you will see cliffs, sheep and even sometime sharks or dolphins in the sea.

Enjoy the about two hours walk and make sure you spread the word.
