If you got a new camera or lens from Santa, January is a great time to go out and test it.
I went from Waterville to Glencar, stopped at Caragh Lake, drove up the road to Treanmanagh where artist Pauline Bewick lives and paints.
From there we went to the Gap of Dunloe with a repaired road and no horses and finally walked Tomies Wood to O`Sullivan cascade on Lough Leane.
A great day with good company(thanks John for the driving) and not a single shower.
The 3 versions of the tree on Lough Leane  are to show my students the use of different focal length and format.
