Over the Water, Blow Hole

Pink rocks, high cliffs, a sea stag, the blow hole, you have it all in this fantastic location and all for yourself as there is no road close by or car park. The wgentle walk along the coast gets you in the right mood and when you arrive you are just amazed by the size of this place. The extra bonus point was a minke whale on his way to Kells and a fantastic sunset over Great Blasket. When you go there, be careful near the sea and mind your steps.

The Skelligs again.

After spending some days in bed with a cold I went for a trip to the Glen to take some photos of the Skelligs. The Glen is the ideal place to see the Skelligs from different angles. I went far left to the Duchealla area to have Skellig Michael on the left in my photos. The light was changing all the time and I could not stop looking and taking photos. Showers were passing by, the sky over Portmagee turned red and just as I was packing I saw the fisherman going home ( last photo)  The Skelligs, a remarkable and magic place even from the distance of 12 km. Three hours in fresh air and well spend. Kerry at its best.
Here is a link to Rosie´s Holiday House in the same place: Duchealla House
