Light, Shape and Photography

The photos below were taken on a rather remote beach near Ballinskelligs. I used a Canon 5dmkII and two lenses, a 50mm macro and  Canon 40mm pancake lens. Most photos were taken with a tripod.  I used the mirror lock option.
All shots were done with ISO 100 and the Aperture was between 10 and 32.
The light was very intense but beautiful and it was just a bliss to be out.
Due to the strong sunlight and the low tide I noticed all kind of reflections and shapes.
I did not use any filter or other enhancement equipment.
In Lightroom, the photos were sharpened only and the watermark was added.

5 Seasons a Day in Kerry

After a rainy start of the day, Friday afternoon turned out to be rather nice. I went to St. Finians Bay, to take some photos on the beach ( famous for good waves among surfer) and later that evening I went for a walk on Valentia Island. After another shower I photographed the rocks still wet and the clear sky. Another shower was on the way but I had my photographs taken and the evening walk, the fresh air and the birds made it a nice experience in any sense.

Walking near Dolus Head and Blow Hole.

Walking and taking photos . One of the best things you can do Kerry. I hope the shots from my Sunday walk will prove it.
