The Year of the Bog Cotton
This year seems to bring nature to do interesting things. All the palm trees are in blossoms and the bog cotton is growing like I have never seen it before in Kerry. During a walk in the bog even my dog got confused with all the white bog cotton pieces flying around.
If I would stayed there for a day she would look like a sheep. Friends telling me bog cotton was used in the past mixed with wool for weaving. It feels like silk but has a short fibre.
All photos were taken with a Canon 5d and 50mm lens.
